If I was asked which two words describe me the best, I would say Gastronomy Lover. Not only Portuguese food, but the wines and essentially everything around it, specially the people.

As a true Northern, and also professional guide, I am a real enthusiast about everything this region has to offer, including its rich history. I simply love to look for new places and new stories, and it's only a matter of time until I find them.

Let me me show you what the real Northern Portugal is all about.

About your experience

We will start this wine tour in Porto, and then visit three towns, two vineyards and one (even more) unique place, with a typical Northern lunch in between.

We will drive through one of Vinho Verde sub-regions. Vinho Verde, usually translated as Green Wine, but also known as Young Wine, is unique in the world. The first stop will be one of the most well known vineyards, and its beautiful gardens, perfect for some proper tastings and of course some wine culture.

After, we will be going for lunch. I know it might sound a bit poetic, but this is what you will find: a real Northern Portuguese table! From typical starters to deserts, with a traditional codfish dish or a veal based dish in between, you will have the real taste of our gastronomy.

Well...time for another treat? Pão-de-ló! From where royalty used to order theirs, with some Port Wine to maximize its flavour. In a house from the late 18th century, with  decoration that didn't change through time, you will feel all its traditions.

From here, just a quick drive until the second vineyard, where the owners will walk with you. It is a family owned vineyard, already in its 4th generation, with a rich history of wine connoisseurs, and they simply love to meet other wine enthusiasts and share some knowledge.
